Utah is located in the western region of the US. Idaho and Wyoming are located to Utah's north. Colorado lies to the east. Arizona is south and Nevada forms the western border. With its history rooted in religion, more than half of the population belongs to the Mormon Church. Petroleum and coal production are major industries in Utah. Mining, cattle ranching, salt production and government service make up the other main industries. Utah touts five national parks which provide year round activities that draw tourists from all over. Utah is also known for cultural attractions like the Sundance Film Festival.
