The state of Missouri is located in the central United States bordering Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Illinois and Tennesse. The population is mainly whites, blacks and american indian. It is called the:"show me state." The economy is highly varied. It ranges from tourism to manufacturing and agriculture. Food processing is the state's fastest growing industry. Missouri mines produce 90% of the United States; lead supply.Missouri also has a thriving wine industry. Visitor's can enjoy the great music shows in Branson, Missouri, Mark Twain's childhood home in Hannibal, Missouri or many other historical museums that the state has to offer. There is also great hiking in the Ozark mountains and lots of beautiful lakes to fish in.
