Kansas mines produce zinc, coal, salt and lead. This state is also the lead producer of helium. Wichita, Kansas is the leading producer of aircraft. Visitors to kansas can go see many historic forts that have been turned into museums such as Fort Hays. Visitors can also see the Pony Express station.
