New commercial property deals signed in Naples
Monday, July 20th, 2009Despite the recession and the pattern of falling rents and rising vacancy, business seems to be picking up in Naples, Florida.
On Fifth Avenue, a number of commercial spaces have been taken up to be used as shops and restaurants.
The 365 building, however, remains empty; the 30,000 square foot office space belongs to investment company BlackRock.
US office vacancies reach four year high
Monday, July 20th, 2009Reis Inc. has claimed that vacancies in rented office spaces across the USA have hit a four year high in Q2.
The national vacancy rate for commercial properties reached 15.9% from 13.2% in Q2 2008.
Reis Inc. said that job losses have been a contributing factor to the rising rate.
